God spark
Have you ever noticed that men and women who are open to God, generally speaking, have a glint in their eye? A certain unmistakable shimmer. A quiet but undeniable vitality. It’s an energy that those unreceptive to God’s current often find amusing or are perhaps even jealous of.
It’s only occurring to me now with real clarity. All the creativity, determination, drive, passion, curiosity, kindness, and pure LIFE FORCE ENERGY is not actually ours. We get to express it, work with it, play with it—but it doesn’t belong to us. It’s God’s. We are literally streaming Him through our flesh and blood bodies. We’re like living conduits—instruments tuned to a Divine frequency.
This Divine energy isn’t limited to those who consciously acknowledge God. Many people who might describe themselves as spiritually neutral are still incredibly charged with it — perhaps seeing it simply as a zest for life, or an inner spark they can’t quite explain. Sometimes though, there is a holding back from that flow — out of habit, fear, or not knowing how to let it in, and the amount of effort we put into holding back God’s energy is wearing us down to the ground. They’re like a clam shell at the bottom of the ocean, straining to keep the water out. The exhaustion this brings of course then manifests in many forms, resulting in the ongoing suffering.
When we soften—when we stop clenching and start opening—something changes. When we open further and further to Divine energy, it ignites us from within. It’s not just light in the eyes; it’s light in the marrow, in the voice, in every movement. And we carry that wherever we go. And believe me, it’s noticed. Even here, in a culture that doesn’t always understand or have language for it, people sense it.
It’s the God spark. The same spark that breathed stars into being now burns quietly in us. And once you’ve felt it, you’ll never mistake it for anything else.
